Sea Captain’s House is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, including most holidays. We are open for breakfast on Thanksgiving and we are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after.
Sea Captain’s House features a unique layout with multiple dining areas, each designed to offer a memorable oceanfront experience. The Captain’s Room, Red Room, Carolina Room, and Indoor Patio all provide spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can also enjoy beverages and coastal cuisine at our two indoor bars—the Main Bar and the Chart Bar—or relax outdoors at the Shipyard, our open-air bar with outdoor patio seating and beautiful coastal views.

Polished casual attire is appropriate. Shirts and shoes are required for indoor and outdoor dining. Beach cover ups are required for both indoor and outdoor dining. Tank tops for men are discouraged during dinner service.
We are pleased to note your preference for a window table and will certainly do our very best to accommodate your request. Although we cannot guarantee a specific table or seating, the restaurant was thoughtfully designed so that every guest enjoys an oceanfront view, ensuring a beautiful dining experience from any table.
The Shipyard Bar is our refined outdoor coastal venue, offering a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere overlooking the Atlantic. Designed with a nautical-inspired aesthetic, it features both bar and patio seating where guests may enjoy handcrafted cocktails and coastal-inspired fare while taking in unobstructed ocean views. The shipyard bar and patio seating is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner in June, July and August with weather permitting. In the fall and spring hours of operation will vary.

Although the restaurant doors are always open, breakfast is served from 7:00am to 10:30am, lunch is served from 11:30am - 4:00pm and dinner is served from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, with seasonal summer hours of operation extending the closing time to 10:00pm.
Yes, complimentary parking is available for restaurant guests, including handicap accessible parking spots near the entrance of the building as well as a large parking lot across the street.

Sea Captain's House is a pet-free establishment; however, trained service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA guidelines.
To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, strollers are not permitted in our dining rooms. We are pleased to offer high chairs and booster seats for our younger guests and are happy to accommodate families whenever possible.
We do not offer call-ahead seating; however, we are pleased to accommodate guests through our reservation system whenever possible. We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure the most seamless dining experience with us.
No, Sea Captain's House does not have a rooftop bar.
The Captain's fishing boat was a deep pearl blue color until it hit an iceburg and sunk to the bottom of the sea. Luckily, no lives were lost when the Captain's boat sank.
